Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
By using Wombow you accept these terms. If you disagree, do not use the app. These terms cover both Wombow for iPhone and Wombow for Windows; where the two differ, each is called out separately.
The service
Wombow is a consumer app that uses AI vision and speech models to provide real-time commentary and companionship while you play or watch. On iPhone it looks through the camera; on Windows it reads your screen. Features, pricing, and availability may change at any time.
Wombow for Windows can run in two ways: a cloud tier, where frames are analysed on our servers, and a local tier, where an AI model runs on your own graphics card and nothing about your screen leaves your machine. Local models are downloaded from their publishers and remain subject to their own licences; we provide them as a convenience, not as our own work.
Your account
- You need an account to use the cloud tier and to carry a subscription across devices. One email address is one account — signing in through a different method with the same verified email links to the account you already have.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be 13 or older to use Wombow.
- You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time — write to privacy@wombow.com.
Acceptable use
You will NOT:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or its servers.
- Use Wombow to violate the rules of the games you play. Wombow watches your screen, and on a few games also reads the read-only data the game itself publishes on your machine; on CS2 and Dota 2 it writes one small integration file into that game's own config folder to switch that feed on, and apart from that file it never modifies any of a game's files. It never injects anything into the game, never reads the game's memory, and never plays an input for you. Every competitive title still sets its own policy on outside assistance — checking that policy is your responsibility, not ours.
- Use Wombow to create or distribute malicious, hateful, or child-targeted content.
- Point Wombow at other people's private information, or at content you have no right to capture.
- Share, sell, or sublicense your subscription or account.
What the AI says
Wombow's replies are generated by AI models. They can be wrong, out of date, or occasionally inappropriate, and they are not advice of any kind. Treat them as a friend guessing out loud, not as fact. If a reply crosses a line, use Report on the message itself — it comes straight to us and we read them.
Subscriptions
Bought on iPhone
- Payment is processed by Apple.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
- Cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Refund requests go through Apple, not us.
Bought on PC
- Payment is processed by Stripe; we are the seller. We never see or store your card details.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the interval you chose until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time in the PC app under Settings → Account → Manage subscription, which opens Stripe's billing page for your account. You may also cancel by writing to support@wombow.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Renewals are not refunded pro rata once a period has started, but if something went wrong — a charge you didn't expect, an app that wouldn't run on your machine — write to support@wombow.com and we will sort it out.
- If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw. Because a subscription gives you immediate access to digital content, starting to use it within those 14 days means asking us to begin straight away; you can still withdraw, and we will refund in line with the law.
- The free tier is free. It runs on your own hardware and carries no charge and no obligation.
Intellectual property
- The app, assets, and Wombow mascot are owned by us.
- AI-generated responses are provided as outputs for your personal use.
- Third-party components — including any AI model you download to run locally — remain the property of their owners and are licensed under their own terms.
Disclaimer & liability
Wombow is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not responsible for:
- Game bans or penalties you incur.
- Missed plays or losses attributed to the AI's suggestions.
- Any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Our total liability is capped at the subscription fees you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. You can stop using Wombow at any time: uninstall the app, and ask us to delete your account if you want it gone for good. If we terminate a paid account for reasons other than a breach of these terms, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top always says when. If a change materially affects a paid subscription, we will tell you before it takes effect — continuing to use Wombow after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
